Oh, and I loved that it went out with not just my favourite Van Morrison song, but one of my favourite songs period, “Sweet Thing.” The show had good musical taste... and also excellent fight choreography.

An acceptable end to the season, for sure. But one that still leaves me wishing they’d done a better job with Angelville. I guess I’m willing to accept much less awful TC in this situation, but they never did enough really to build Jody up so that his death had more impact beyond simply feeling like the necessary…
I like Rogen and Goldberg and didn’t think it was inherently a bad idea for them to produce this show but everything wrong with it *feels* like those two not really understanding what works well in the comic and emphasizing what they personally liked about it. Which is understandable but has lead to an inferior…
