Yeah I didn’t want a live service, just a modern update to Factions, bummer that wasn’t their intention. Probably for the best to kill the live service project, but let’s not pretend Last of Us 3 was in danger of not happening because of a live service project, that series is a cash cow and they’re going to milk it

As a TLOU fan the only reason I was even somewhat interested in this was the thought that maybe Naughty Dog could bring something different to the table than everyone else. I’m still curious what they would’ve ultimately come up with, but the risk of it being just a forgettable development time sink was just so high

But  they install that TruCoat at the factory. There’s nothing we can do about that.

Don’t know about getting there, but getting back should be as simple as tagging along with that wizard.

Too bad it didn’t crash. Fuck Putin.

I know I’ve posted that before, so maybe you learned it from me. Thanks for continuing to spread the word.

Also adblocker on mobile does the same thing.

This one is particularly egregious as it’s essentially a slideshow of article comments. It’s a slideshow where they did BARELY any work.

What I want from Kotaku:

Yeah I agree. The only games I usually buy day one are Nintendo and Sony exclusives that too only after embargo. This year my other day one has been AW2 but that’s because it was a sequel I’d been waiting for since 2010.

Pretty much. I’m patient since my backlog is obscene.

YEAH! BURN YOUR MONEY AT MY FEET YOU PENNILESS MONGREL!

*Actually did find a 55 inch 120hz QLED for 400 bucks.

Too bad people will pay it. Start passing the profits down to your labor and I’ll start paying full price for games again.

For me I was lucky enough to have a great neighborhood store. One guy owned and ran the place, sold games, cards, even had his own anime VHS collection that he rented out. Eventually he put a dozen consoles in the back for birthday parties. Only lasted about ten years, but it was amazing.

I was very confused about your comment, as there’s an EB Games just 10min away from me.

EB was no Software Etc... Especially when SE was still just a section of B Dalton.

I can still remember many Christmases ago trying to buy No Man’s Sky for PS4. A used copy was $50. A brand new copy online was $12, though? Weird. So instead of ordering it I saw it was in inventory literally down the street. I hopped int he car, pulled up, went inside, grabbed the one and only new copy, went to the

Here, here. So many good memories.

Or Babbage’s. They were generally pretty decent to deal with.

$900 off means that this thing is probably still very expensive.
