Nothing I say will convince you, as this is mainly a political issue where each side's party loyalists regurgitate their party's platitudes.

A "gun-free zone" is not about being able to purchase guns. It's an area where it's illegal to carry a firearm.

This is a tactic: you make your opposition out to be mindless drones who can't think and are just zombies for some puppet master.

In my city South and West sides are odd, North and East sides are even.

Further proof that 3rd party developers who make games catering to the self-proclaimed "hardcore gamers" are still very skeptical of Nintendo's platform. When the next Xbox and PS come out, the Wii U will be outdated once more. Lagging behind in graphics, that is...

Great article for the most part, but please don't tell people to say trite, cheesy, see-through ridiculous statements like: "Oh we must have some things in common, but we're having trouble finding them. Let's work hard together!"

This really isn't a fair comparison considering the Wii U is over a half a decade newer than the other two. We are constantly making advances in reducing inefficiency in CPUs and GPUs and other computer designs, so as time goes on we find faster systems using less power (in general).

Having lived in Japan for over three years, I wish my home country (US) had the same community responsibility... I'd take the negatives of that system versus the negatives of my current system.

I have to disagree with Gabe on this one. The cost of a decent PC gaming rig is going to be about twice the cost of the most expensive console on the market. Although there are a lot more games, most of the extra games are either MMORPGs, browser-based/social, or indie. While I love PC gaming and have a nice PC gaming

That's not as relevant anymore. Everything auto-updates and auto-detects settings.

I live in the south, too... but was raised in the north, and spent three years living overseas (non-military). The Dems and Reps are virtually identical to me.

The people who hate political posts on Facebook are generally the same people who don't vote and do nothing to uphold their civic duty to their country. I'm not worried about offending a politically apathetic bum. They deserve to be offended by educated citizens who exercise their political power and stay up to date

Dark Souls has "checkpoints" in the way of bonfires. It's easier than Demon's Souls, IMO, but opinions vary.

Why would you ever buy a smaller version of a very small console that lacks features ... including internet access!? TERRIBLE idea... I'm calling it.

Wow, you are very, very, very misguided and incorrect. No disrespect intended for you, but as a serious console AND PC gamer... you're just dead wrong. Firstly, my stats: every current gen console except Wii U, every last gen console, DS and DSi, PSP, and a gaming PC.

I'm going to get confused for a troll, but I'm seriously not knocking the awesome graphics engine...

I would definitely recommend this technique as one of many. I was just trying to point out that any of these "Get Fluent Quick Schemes" are no better than get rich quick schemes.

Ok, maybe 22 months :-)

I'm sorry, but *NO ONE* learned any foreign language in 22 hours. Not even 22 days, nor 22 weeks, nor even 22 months. After studying Japanese for six years in college, a study abroad, living there for three years, and doing another summer training program there, I can say that becoming fluent for daily conversation on
