No, but for real, who's that one girl?

Yea, I'm too lazy for that stuff. I'd rather eat skittles.

What "very dangerous missions" do they let random people volunteer for?

I'd like to think I'd eat them until I died from a poisoned one or there were only 3 left.

1. By itself it is a bad analogy. Let's say we added "…but for every skittle you ate, you saved a life." That's what we do when we accept refugees. That's a good analogy. And it's an a great ethical dilemma that would make one think about their choices.

Because the video is what will play in front of other videos you're watching.

I think Season 6 is worse than Season 7 and Season 7 has my favorite moment of the show that doesn't involve Lorelai and Rory together (the karaoke scene).

Not a real life thing. This happened in Season 7.

I understood that reference.

Completely agree with you. Patterson continues to be my favorite character on the show and I hope Jane and Patterson develop a friendship by midseason.

Religion requires faith; science requires proof.

There's a difference between liking a performance and the character they're playing or their dialogue.

Holy crap you just made me realize that they're supposed to be langoliers. Specifically the testicle-looking langoliers from the TV movie.

See, I read that as a time direction meaning that this is the planet with the dolphins in charge it's just in the future.

I understand that "To Shanshu In L.A." is the season one episode that introduces a lot of the narrative elements that will drive the rest of the series but I think "Hero" is the episode that introduces a lot of the thematic elements.

You mean Lance?

In the last year or so she's had a Showtime special, a Netflix documentary and an HBO special. That's got to be some kind of record.

I hope Clifton Collins Jr. keeps his epic mustache.

I haven't read the book. I plan to but I listened to a live bit he did for This American Life based on this research and it made me want a stand-up lecture/comedy special based on it. It sounded like so much fun.

I know I'm already a weirdo because I prefer Pepsi to Coke but add to it that every time I see a Pepsi machine on screen it makes me want a Pepsi. There's just something aesthetically pleasing about their logo and bright blue background. This goes double for their classic logo which just brings on waves of nostalgia.
