It was unprofitable because Ford’s hybrids are never advertised. When Ford’s own sales people don’t know about them, how do you sell them?  From the small handful of things I’ve heard about them, they were actually pretty good.

I really hope that France does not back down on this investigation.  With all the wealth in the world, sometimes people can shut things down to protect said wealth. France seems to be going after this out of principle and the fact that it happened right up under their noses.
