I'm happy to brag that in my little part of the world, (northeast British Columbia, Canada) we never change our clocks! I don't know if it is because we are "smarter" than other places or whether we simply can't figure out how to change our clocks, but nevertheless, I'm always happy to go into Windows and uncheck the A

Thank you, Lifehacker, for adding some spice to my day. It's SO important to add some good humour and fun to keep your edge and stay productive. Happy people are productive people.

I think that the album art stuff and all the recent additions are a bunch of needless bloat.

Keep it coming, Gina and the Gang! I love this stuff as much as I love the productive stuff. Anyone with 1/2 a brain can tell you that happy people are productive people, so having some fun is key to being productive.

This post and all subsequent comments leads me to believe that there is a real opportunity out there for somebody to develop the iPod of photo management software.

@ RJ

Year / Month folders, and every photo is labelled by the date and time field from the EXIF data.

@middy,

Someone said to take it out 30 minutes or so after eating? Perish the thought! Puppies are eating and pooping and peeing machines! If s/he drinks — outside to pee! If s/he eats — outside to pinch a loaf!

I can easily enough figure out what processes are running through a number of methods, however, I often don't know which ones I can safely shut down. Some are obvious, while others "look" important and having to google 30 or more individual processes is, um, an onerous process in and of itself.

Hmmm...

It's hard to imagine with the screen resolutions people use these days that they want to run fullscreen. If you were on a crappy laptop, I guess, but do you really need to hide everything if you're running 1600 X 1200 or more?

Maybe the "Download of the Day" should be renamed "Download of the Moment"

We LHers should send feedback/suggestions to Google to do just what Brad mentions!

Tried it a while ago — didn't care for it as I thought the Java engine was rather sluggish. Not saying that it's a bad program or anything, just that it didn't meet my needs at the time so I continue to look for the ideal photo management application.

/me nods in agreement with the why-is-del.icio.us-so-delicious sentiments.

GAH! Folks, use some kind of service to prevent this from happening in the future! I have used both Foxmarks and Google Browser Sync.

My thoughts on this are that it's all about developing your eye.
