Online polls for audience scores for popular culture are not accurate. It only counts votes from those that decide to participate, is easy to manipulate via ballot-box-stuffing, are extremely vulnerable to brigading and are awful at nuance.

Adam Scott is also in Start Trek: First Contact. He’s the helmsman on the Defiant in the opening scene.

I remember reading a story about Emilio Estevez being in a bad place, and their dad sent brother Charlie Sheen to talk to him. When Charlie Sheen is being sent to tell you to get your shit together, you know your life has gone off track.

Yeah, Scott even gets a surprising amount of scenes in the first half of the movie. He barely looks like he aged a day between Aviator and Parks and Rec. 

Speaking of The Aviator--you know who’s in that movie for no apparent reason beyond taking several more years for this person to blow up? Adam Scott. He has a full scene as a named character and everything. It’s mind-blowing. Oh, and he’s really good in it.

Having Sean Penn being the first guy rushing to your defense should be the bigger wake-up call than Chris Rock needling you for being prolific.

Gattaca was critically acclaimed, but did flop at the box office — and I agree: both Jude Law and Uma Thurman have no trouble at all convincing you of their genetic superiority.

I’m a big fan of Gattaca (probably my first glimpse of Law’s handsomeness) and eXistenZ. Were those considered bombs, because I think they’re underseen if anything.
