Hey Warner Bros., I challenge you not to reveal Wiig’s Cheetah in any promo material.

I haven't actually watched the trailer yet because I'm reading this on my phone while I'm on the can, but I think I can confidently say that no, Wiig is definitely the star here.

Everything else aside - the use and integration of “Blue Monday” into this trailer was phenomenal. Sound effects for breakbeats, symphonic adaptation - all spot on.  Slays the tired ‘ominous, brooding version of a pop hit’ music, hopefully.

dr strange was a totally fine movie but c’mon it was barely surreal. i’ll give that there was magic, but even that wasn’t particularly ‘magical’

This is by far the most interesting looking Disney+ show. Whether you like it or not, there’s no denying Mandalorian is incredibly safe and Falcon+Winter Soldier looks similar. That was one of the funniest episodes of SNL i’ve seen in years. I honestly laughed out loud several times, and i wasn’t even drunk.

Holy hell that was a really damn good episode. I don’t know how it’s possible that episode exists in the same season as the rest of the incredibly mediocre/bad episodes have. Did Mulaney and Hader bring every sketch idea in with them?

It’s possible we sort of did get Stefon. That pregnant pause before “problematic bachelors called The Squad” played like Mulaney sprang it on Hader in the cue cards.

Easily the best overall show of the year. Not that this is a surprising result.... The only negative is it just reminds me how much I miss Bill Hader.

I rather liked the Patti Smith bumper. It was probably photoshopped but I wonder if there’s some outtakes of Mulaney dressed as Smith.

Stop and pet a bodega cat. Yeah, they’re a tiny bit filthy but they are also so missing everyday affection and will love you. It’s an amazing thing, making anyone or anything feel that good, even briefly.
