I know that chances are slim, because the Emmys have proven their incompetence over and over again, but I really really hope that this show gets all the recognition it deserves. It's absolutely brilliant and gorgeous and it needs the increased viewership that a few Emmy awards would bring.

The best thing is that it plays as a dumb joke in those previews, but in the actual episode it comes after the revelation that he can smell cancer, so it's fucking horrifying.

Fuller seems pretty excited about DVD extras. He's mentioned a gag reel, commentaries, "not suitable for network" cuts of the episodes, and deleted scenes in interviews and on twitter. I think that Gaumont has final say over what goes on the DVDs, though.

Paul F. Tompkins would be thrilled.

As a lover of Jessica Chastain, @avclub-9cd818ea56273170b63f339aa6f34bca:disqus knows good acting.

As did a ton of people before you. Relax.

To me, Will's expression was filled with the knowledge of what Hannibal is, and enough anger and self-possession to start fighting back against what's been done to him.

No. Hannibal let Jack listen to a piece of a recording of one their sessions; maybe that's what she's thinking of?

Someone asked Fuller on twitter last night if they would be and he said, "Hai."

The blu-ray can't come out fast enough. I need that scene.

YES. He's damaged but he's clear again, and it was so good to see. It'll be even better to see the other characters realize that he's innocent, of course, but now that he's been treated and he's in control of his own mind, he's actually in a position to convince them. And it seems like he knows what he's fighting

Disagree so much, Alana's meltdown in the car was wonderful and heartbreaking.

How dare you, Hugh Dancy looks cute in everything. Agreed on all other counts though.

From what I understand, Hannibal is caught in the 2nd season and the 3rd season is some sort of fugitive scenario. Of course all of this is up for change, it doesn't seem as though Fuller has everything set in stone.

Yeah, I'll comment with a more in-depth reaction once I stop crying in the fetal position. For now I'll just say: that was a flawless episode of television, and as far as I'm concerned, the entire season was basically perfect too. I cannot wait for next year.

I am so ridiculously excited for Hannibal's finale but I'm also dreading the hiatus. I'll miss it so much! I guess I'll just have to console myself with stalking Bryan Fuller's twitter feed.

We're pretty close on this one.

I think she truly did get freaked out and leave him at the cabin. Oh, god, and it just occurred to me that she and Hannibal were having that conversation in her old kitchen, the same room where her father tried to slit her throat and was gunned down. Damn. He's telling her that he's going to kill her and they're

@persia2:disqus I'm not sure what you mean. Abigail told Hannibal that she left Will at the cabin. So he went back to the airport alone while she went back to her old house. Will returning to Virginia without Abigail will only make him look more guilty if she turns up dead in Minnesota.
