I will admit it is a struggle to not be salty in the face of autofellating blog posts by Barca fans.

* Neymar: Behaves like an asshole, gets treated like an asshole.
Counterpoint: when you do unsportsmanlike stuff like what’s shown above, you can’t claim that people only kick you because you are better. Some people actually just wanna kick you because you’re an asshole.
I’m all for Neymar being cocky with his play, I’m all for him trying to nutmeg everybody under the sun, and control long passes with those nifty little showoffy flicks and taking ludicrous shots and what the fuck ever.
To extend a hand in sportsmanship and then pull it back while saying “psyche” is kind of the definition of that. No problem with the tricks etc. but don’t be a jerk when pretending to help someone.
So Padme was racist too?
I like that even less.
They really don’t explain the Skywalker Family much.
Well, since in his original draft of the Star Wars, Darth Vader is in no way related to Luke Skywalker and is actually younger than him, and that in the original draft of Empire Strikes Back, again, he is not Luke’s father, yes. I am very certain it is a coincidence. He’s named after the word “invader.”
NERD!!!!!!!!!
I think part of the problem is that the films have never dug particularly deep into what “turning to the dark side” really means.
No, he had none of it. It’s always been a pile of crap. Vader was not originally Luke’s father. Leia was not originally Luke’s sister. He was always making this shit up as he went and lying about it. J.J. Abrams was always his perfect successor.
Because that’s what a slave kid on a desert planet would do - send away for a kit to build a protocol droid.
I like the fanwank that suggests that she was being Kilgraved by Anakin the entire time. He was (probably subconsciously and accidentally) using the Force to seduce and manipulate her, which is also why the Jedi Council forbids romantic relationships because there’s no good way to tell if a Jedi Knight is simply…
The prequels are weird, man.
As with so much of the prequels, lots of good ideas, poorly executed.
It would also be a hard sell to explain a non-Jedi with no affinity for the Force who hadn’t been seen in decades to suddenly show up as a CGI ghost to try and connect with a great grandson that had no reason to give a toss.
The biggest problem with Padme’s characterization is that she falls in love with Anakin.
I think she’s a great character that’s forced into a bad relationship for plot reasons.
I don’t understand how Padme can fall for a guy who is a) creepy, b) fascist leaning, and c) a murderer.
No, I think his take on Lingard’s talents is fair. He’s actually a really good example of the kind of player Fergie used to have on the team. He’s a squad player that every team needs but nobody is going to pay big dollars to get. In Mourinho’s defense-first system, he’d do well because he isn’t likely to freelance…
Well that escalated quickly.
Snoke saw exactly what he was saying.
