What do you mean "proved"? You can certainty have discounts AND 0% APR. You can certainly have ADDITIONAL discounts if you forgo 0% APR.

I did not say it is not impossible. I said one was less likely to make it with taking car loans. Kind of like if you smoked all your life and did not get sick. You were lucky so congrats.
It does not matter because the do called zero percent is always in lieu of additional discounts.
Haging cash is whats important. It is perfectly ok to take a loan if you invest these money at higher interest. A kicker: you have to have the money in the first place. That’s all.
exactly! Basic fucking shit. I am both surprised and not surprised that people actually argue against this basic fucking shit.
No, a good option is to buy a used car for cash the kid has plus extra for emergency. Even if it is a junker. Then make those monthly payments to his or her own bank account. Not to the lender. Yes, the car may literally stink. No, it is not more expensive than owning a new car.
he is not an angel. He states things that are pretty obvious, plus has his biases and probably undisclosed conflicts of interest. Take him with a grain of salt and you'll be fine. Do not take him as a religion.
If you pay cash or have cash and choose financing to use the cash for investment and such, you are golden. After years of driving meh cars, I bought myself a GTI and a Bullitt. I enjoy both very much. Fuck car payments.
Hard, but not impossible or even unreasonable. Of course getting out of poverty is hard. The point is that it is possible, and even probable, if one makes an effort and makes certain decisions.
people do not need to overspend for cars. Used car for cash is the choice if you want to not stay poor. A loan is a choice if you want to stay poor.
Ahaha. We should instead take advice from someone who is piss-poor? Lol. Sure. Sponsored by the Repo Man Association.
Does Ramsey actually give information? I thought he only gives advice, which is opinion, not facts.
Ramsey’s advice is akin to suggesting to not smoke. Smokers, same as buyers of items such as cars without having the money, will feel cornered and defend their choices no matter what.
OK. So Tesla does have a fixed-ratio transmission. But this also means there is no shifting of this transmission. Not sure about drivetrain losses for fixed-ratio transmission, but complexity and reliability problems are certainly related to changing ratios whether through shifting or continuously.
You sound like an engineer. (For an electric motor, would that be called a motornier?) In simple terms, why an electric motor would need a transmission: is it because the motor can not efficiently spin fast enough directly?
Well, that goes to show that Porsche is still klunging it with the doppel. A transmission, any transmission or any intermediary mechanical device necessarily introduces energy losses. I am sure there may be scenarios when a transmission working for an electric motor has its advantages, but my (uneducated) guess is…
The transmission is a dead end technology required to compensate for inherent deficiencies of the internal combustion engine. With a manual transmission one at least can have fun. Otherwise, just throw away the transmission for good and go electric. This is my plan for car ownership anyway. The Doppelkungklung can…
You don't know jack
Are the names diligence or stagecoach taken? ‘Cause those sound better than SUV or crossover.
Cool. That is good to know. Not only did I not know that, but also did not recognize the need to google it, if that makes sense.
