Excellent questions! The answer to both is “They were successfully maintaining a veneer of plausibility.”

Man, Chicago keeps finding more heartbreaking ways to lose. Like Jesus Christ.
I missed the offseason transaction where the Bears hired Mike McCarthy as their offensive coordinator.
How the spiked ball [c]ame about—after a play that ended with 21 seconds on the clock—is truly one of the low points of this NFL season.
And even when it wasn’t first and goal, they were still getting downfield. Oh hey, it’s 3rd and 12, might as well dump the ball off to Cohen for 3 yards...
Failure in the red zone is an improvement over not getting into the red zone, I guess.
Remember when people thought Nagy was a genius? And Trubisky was on his way to bring a good QB?
It wasn't just that drive. 3 drives had a first and goal. 3 field goals were the result. They really should have been up 21-7 at the half.
As much as replay is a bummer and it has been a negative for sports, this is an instance of it confirming the right call.
You missed the point. That one replay cost Oklahoma the game and maybe season, NOT giving up 48 points to Kansas State.
This is morbid as fuck but Ive always wanted to add to my will that if I were to pass before my pets I will gift them delicious (for them) parts of me. My dog will be gifted my femur/s. Not sure what my cats would want, maybe a big toe to knock around the room like a toy mouse?
i don’t think most cats are going to become acclimated to water at any level. dogs, yes. cats, not so much.
In other words, a typical cat
Thanks, I missed that. Sadly, Cinderblock doesn’t seem like the acclimatizing type: more like the ‘have it my way or Fyou type’.
The article explains it, that the water level isn’t sufficient to support her, but they’re just doing it to get her used to the water/process. Once she’s acclimated, they do raise the water level.
He was in poor health at 93 years old and Cinder took full advantage, gaining quite a bit of weight (as you can see!)
Well last time I took my cat, Sarge for a standard check up and shots (and a bath for some reason) they charged us $450 (50 for the bath we didnt ask for). So im gonna guess around $700,000.
I’m amazed this is a thing. How much does inpatient fat cat rehabilitation cost?
I’m honestly surprised that the players wont be independent contractors.
Why pay QBs $500K? Spread the wealth around to the other players. It’s secondary league/offseason football. Nobody is watching the XFL because of the QBs who can’t make 3rd string NFL practice squads.
