If I can try to invade the mind of the rednecks I grew up with in Redneckville, IN, they didnt like seatbelt laws anyway because of ‘my freedom’. So I’m imagining the lockdowns and mask mandates spurred them to defy seatbelt laws in a way to regain some of ‘my freedom’.

What I can see regarding US cars and trucks and battery swaps is a common “quick-swap” option/feature/trim-level that uses a standard battery pack. The pack would be relatively small so it fits in compact cars, and then consumers would purchase cars that accept that standard if it fit their lifestyle.

No, two work from home adults, and everything necessary in suburbia is <2mi away from the house.

was there a follow up with the car engulfed in flame?

I’d say a 1% chance is being generous.

How much oil did you go through in those last 15 miles to the hardware store? Did you have anything to slow the flow during that time?

Sell. Gain money on the sell, don’t pay for registration, parking, maintenance, or any of that until you after this is over and you find a new desirable car.

David and Mercedes are clearly in an arms race right now.

I guess one hidden benefit of that industry (in my experience) is that you could literally say “Hey, that person you just hung up on? They have a fucking 800 FICO and want this fucking car. The fuck is wrong with you? Just send them the paperwork so you can go back to doing cocaine in the parts department.” and not

He doesn’t, he has identified himself as a middle man who is out of the job if dealers go away. He’s trying to justify his paycheck.

Can you do me a favor and explain exactly who/what a “buckwheat” is. Honestly don’t understand the meaning.

Is COINTELPRO pronounced CO-IN-TEL-PRO or COIN-TEL-PRO?
