Not to mention, the timing-chain cover wasn’t any cleaner after the wash.

Eh. Keep that time. All they do those first weeks is cry and digest. The whole household is tense hoping for a decent nap. Or throwing random guesses as to why he/she is crying after the checklist of food, diaper, attention is vetted.

This. Also, let’s not ignore the hardware costs. $15 a month per box from cable skews the bill massively.

Plus, its a terrible cycle of:

This only works if you sell the car.

Great point, the ones that do are hippy ones that cost much more and have a stronger selection process.

I’ve got a 2015 RS for a grocery-getter / kid-carrier. I prefer the looks of it.

Lucky, I used tide packs in Michigan and it didnt end well. I haven’t tried in Phoenix, where the ground water is warmer.

My experience with those was if you didn’t use hot water, they wouldn’t melt fully and molted plastic would bind to my clothes. To me, it’s not worth the cost of the heating the water and worrying about color-bleed.

I haven’t heard “powerbands” before. This is blinker fluid right?

I pay $10 an hour. For date nights it’s little more than entertaining him for two hours, feeding a bottle, setting him in his crib, and watching Netflix until we come back. $15 is too high for what the job is, I’m really paying them not to go out that night, not the physical tasks involved.

From my experiences, it’s bought by grandmas in the countryside and is played by bored 9 year old boys who prefer it to grandma’s only other game, Bejeweled.

You could slice it as a 7 time conference champion. That’s a good look.

I’d guess it decomposes more than it gets dirty. But I’m just speculating.

Lots of discussion about miles here. My car gets used less than 3,000 miles a year. Time is the limiting factor. How the hell is a gearhead supposed to actually know how much time the oil will last? I run Royal Purple FWIW.

As a young man I was once quoted $4k per year for coverage on a $7k motorcycle. That was while married with a degree. I’ve heard single guys get quotes over $10k per year for a $10k motorcycle.

I was thinking the same thing. My guess is that the battery cannot discharge enough energy for all four motors to run at peak. They can only discharge 1073 hp worth.

4th Gear: Given the seniors I know in rural america, the fierce battle to hand over a drivers license long after their ability has left. Will only return when you ask them to trust a robot car that can’t understand them mumbling “I want to go to Martha’s for dinner.”

I’m going to have big problems with this one. Usually I’d say its alcohol, restaurants, and gadgets. But I’m buying my first home this month, the amount of not-normal spending is going to be through the roof. I don’t know where I would begin qualifying all the new house stuff as an impulse or not. Is a roku an impulse

I have this in Black. The latch stopped functioning properly after a month, the button labels wore off after a month, and the sealing grommet has gotten really loose after 5 months. I wonder if the more expensive once work properly longer. Having to hold down the latch while it works instead of using that hand to
