I love those articles. First for the think pieces they are. I dont take them as literal, more as a what-if. Secondly, the comments, oh god they are wonderful. Every edge case in the world is exposed and immediately diagnosed as unsolvable.

I can’t answer. But I can add that in my birth state of Indiana an under 18 drivers license was a restricted drivers license, and you could get a true operators license at 18. So maybe they go back in to get the new drivers license? Who knows, but I’d be shocked to hear this wasn’t addressed.

It costs $339 for the bike, helmet, gloves, and joint pads. I know rich is a relative term, but we are talking about less money than a smartphone or game console. Hardly analogous to the surrogate scenario you just created.

I shortened mine with a solder job that apparently was only good enough for a year and plug it into my sena. The sena has great volume controls. But it’d be great to not have to modify the wire to have it work.

I’ve got Shure SE215s. They work great, how did you deal with the long cord though? I had to shorten mine to about a foot long.

I daily commute by highway also. My earbuds broke yesterday and I miss them dearly.
