Karmas have gotten pretty affordable. I’ve seen them in the 50’s on Autotrader. That doesn’t seem too bad for such a unique and IMO pretty car. Does anybody know who repairs them though?

Shopping with my wife for moto gear is difficult. Everything is as you described. Everything that appears to be shaped for a woman has a floral print or pink accents. Flat black is easy to find, but how boring is that? Just make a protective jacket that comes in various colors without a stupid flower pattern.

I think the biggest thing would be to redesign roads with them in mind. We put bicycle lanes everywhere despite a very low usage rate, why not mark off a similar width lane on the highway between the HOV and normal lane #1?

I disagree. If my cars interior becomes tatty and worn looking quickly I will not be going back to that same manufacturer for another one.

There is a lot of truth here. Maintaining a leather interior (or interior in general) is really hard when you live in the desert and the 115 degree heat of summer combines with constant sun to fry your leather and melt your plastic.
