I’m not being disingenuous. I’m starting facts and, really looking for answers. The I had an idea why they don’t post about those other shootings (that sounds dismissive, but I’m bad with words sometimes) but I think now I was being short sighted.

I’m not here to downplay or Highlight any mass shooting in particular. I am also not using “gang related” as a euphemism. I am questioning why Splinter chooses to post blogs only about certain ones.

I think you are missing my point, and I am sure it’s my fault. I think these stories should get attention. I believe Splinter is purposefully skewing their narrative.

It’s possible it was milsim (costume armor airsofters use).  Other possibilities are that it was soft armor, like cops wear, or that Dayton police roll with ARs in their trunks.  No armor is going to stand up to multiple rounds for very long.

This is not semantics. These are legally defined terms. So when someone says a man was sold a machine gun, and then people read it or hear it on TV or whatever, and they think full auto weapons are handed out to the general population.
