Some young mens lived are permenantly ruined by one choice they make. The have a gap in work history. They have to put down if they were ever convicted. I may be proven wrong but I believe that this kind of reform is a major step in lifting families out of bad situations.

Can you give me a link that shows me that most of these child deaths from guns are kids getting a hold of their parents guns? I lock my guns up. My kids don’t have access to them except when we go to the range, and I dont have a problem with the laws. I just think the ones I’ve seen are too ambiguous.

More people defend themselves with firearms year over year than are killed by them. People put food on the table with firearms. To say there is no social benefit is a straight up lie.

We also have plenty of laws against killing people. Firearm homicide doesnt overtake drowning until you get into the teens, when kids get involved in drugs and gangs.  That's already illegal, too. Yes, Bernie was and is correct that if we didnt have redlining, then schools would have been more integrated and more minorities would have already had access to better education.

It’s the same here in Maryland with the Medical Marijuana card. But in Colorodo or Washington, anyone can smoke so theres no government paper trail.  You can smoke and own guns.

I have no problem with safe storage laws in principal. My problem is how they are written. I understand it’s one man’s pipe dream. Only twenty percent of gun owners are Democrats and most of those are more like Joe Manchin than me.

And yet more kids are killed those ways than guns.  Americans are nothing if not efficient.  Who NEEDS a pool? And why cant we ban cars and expand mass transit and bike paths.  Save the roads for commercial trucks, buses, and emergency vehicles.  Fewer green house gases.  Turn gas stations into parks.  

How obvious is the answer how would you get rid of all the guns in America?

I would vote for Larry Krasner for president in a second. End the war on drugs. Keep young men out of jail. Keep families together. Keep young men out of morgues. Don’t let one bad decision define these mens lives.
