My firearms that are loaded are in a combo safe that only my wife and I know the combination safe to. My other guns that stay unloaded are in a gun locker and that key stays on me. My ammo cans are locked and those keys are under my spare tire in the trunk of my car. I do not need to dismantle a gun to keep it safe.
