I wish I could go fly today rather than sitting at work doing exactly nothing. I just realized that I have no pictures of any of the planes I have flown. I flew a Diamond DA40 for the first time last Friday, spent a lot of time dicking around with the G1000 cockpit. Taking a 175 with what I believe is a Franklin

Old old comment system was was broke old kinja was broke. New kinja is still broke.

    What is that magnificent beast?

And 4.0 was just the evolution of AMC's 232 and 258 inline 6. I agree though absolutely fantastic engines.

I'm about as close to an anti-fan of anything Mopar (except older Jeeps)

The 01-03 GM800 spec'ed 3157 bulbs for the DRL and I think it is also what calls for in the manual in later year trucks. There was a services bulletin that called for the 3157 to be swapped for 4114 because they can handle voltage spikes better. You will probably notice about half trucks from that generation running

What kind of planes are we talking though? A nice, flying(in annual) Piper Pacer is around 20k or maybe up to 50k for a really nice one. The 172 I train in was even less than that. I know of a few people with boats that are around that much... just different strokes.

Exactly. I am after something along the lines of this.

5-10 million is a bit of a stretch especially for a 90 but I agree with your point in general.

I was excited when I clicked on this but that is still going to be a damn expensive plane. I don't know exactly what I was hopping for since every plane has to be at least partially overhauled after a set number of hours. This is just taking a shell and jamming bunch of modern avionics and updated engines in it (which

It does look like it needs bigger headlights. So much wasted real estate on that hood. As it stands it needs more dragons

Eh I'd rather them do nothing at all than anything stupid. Big bats seemed few and far between, and the ones were out there were not every truly in play for the Royals. We don't need pitching at the moment (though they will this off-season with Shields more than likely gone).

Good point. I'd be curious to see what the issue was and why the ad is written somewhat cryptically. It is a nice truck though, there was a 02 for sale at a dealer I drive by every day. $19k 88k miles. I only I had had the funds at the time.

That ad says "true mileage is unknown". How is that possible with a digital odo?

Also, I am 99% sure I have seen your sonic on the turnpike a few times. Nice ride.

Its funny because like most Jalops I enjoy a good brown car, but it just seem much more prevalent on planes. I also have figured out that planes are some what like RVs in term of "graphics", monochromatic looks kind of odd so they use the same goofy, swoopy decals to break up the monotony. That said I really don't

I have been passively looking for a small plane to co-purchase with a couple of friends. I am primarily looking at 50s Pipers and 60s-70s Cessnas. They seem to be 75 % brown. The two planes that I train in are both brown too. Brown is apparently just a airplane color.

Is that the guy from Castle?
