I love these pieces Paul, and the blog in general.

Wondering where you'd been. Thanks for the photos. I am flying MCI to DEN Friday for a graduation and I can just tell my girlfriend is excited to hear all about the various planes I will be pointing out.

He rarely misses when then there is a fair ball and when its foul he always goes for the out even when there is little chance of snagging it. That make for some pretty spectacular fails. He also is always chewing gum and blowing bubbles.

I remember these flying over Wichita when I was a kid. Very cool planes.

Agree about the AA planes. I wish they would have stuck with a polished base for their new livery. A naked carbon fuselage would look pretty neat with a extra large version of a 12k weave. That my be my inner bike nerd taking though.

Hey, thanks for the post. My comment wasn't really about anything more than the landscape changing since I grew up there. I am a fan of anything aviation related and doubly so if it is coming out of Wichita.

Last time I was home in Wichita I was bummed to see some of the Beachcraft buildings torn down to make room for a Costco. Good to see this coming out of ICT.

Agreed, I saw this on A.net yesterday and was happy to see it again here. I wish I could see this plane in person.

    I see 40s 60s 70s and 100s but no love for the 80 series.

I had a 91 300zx with those belts. I didn't even notice until a few days before I sold it.

    Nothing, see Brandon Jennings.

    I agree. I have a bright blue P5. Such a fun car.

I disagree, the TJ is far too new and refined to be called 'classic'. I'm a bit biased though.

    Neat

Range Rover. My first car was a bright yellow CJ-5 and I would have a yellow Protege5 now if it would have had a MT. Also 40k vs 10k make it a really easy decision.

    Hot Tamales

Does anybody remember those peanut butter things that came wrapped in plain black or orange wax paper? Apparently they are called peanut butter kisses. Those are by far the worst candy. Just slightly behind those wax lip things.
