NASA needs to put that football field in space! All international disputes will now be solved in a matter of 4 15min quarters!

I envy this man. He just did something that I never got to do with my Olds 98 before it died.

It looks like those skills were honed by a lot of trial and error. Y’all mean?

I would DD that Kei Kamper all day every day!!!

I had one to drive. It had a 4.0L V8. The 1st gen was a luxury cruiser done right. Fast, good suspension (with Autobahn package) and good city/hwy fuel economy when tuned up (got 20mpg). It’s too bad the head gasket failed in it, otherwise it would still be in the family.

It puts a grin on my face every time I see GM doing QA on them on M-99 and I-496 outside the factory in Lansing. Every day on my way to work I see one of these with the plastic still on the body being tested. Before going on the car carrier, the luckiest factory workers in town gets to test drive these on Lansing

Can this come in a wagon pretty please?

All the more reason to scrap the DMCA. That law is a perversion of the rule of law and is a poster child of the law of unintended consequences.

If I could find the tent accessory, I would drive one.

The answer is always Aztek....It’s a High School Reunion, so who cares?

I loved my parents’ Aurora and seeing this wagon prototype makes me happy. The wagon gets rid of the 1 flaw that the aurora had (besides the head gasket on the Northstar) which was the tiny trunk opening and the tiny pass-through to the back seat. Being from Lansing, talking about Oldsmobile still makes me sad.

So much legroom!!!!!

The problem with all of this is that no wifi device today or in the near future would be able to use this V2V band. 5 Ghz unlicensed wifi doesn’t work above channel 165 (5825 MHz) and 802.11p (V2V) is already defined by IEEE.

I got a Caterham (one day i will get a kit version of this)! This quiz is not bullshit; please make more of these.

Recycling carbon fiber is limited. You will never get the same strength from it after the 1st recycle. When building the solar car, we used virgin carbon fiber and chopped carbon fiber (recycled). The chopped carbon fiber has a lot of strength, but less than virgin carbon fiber (the main parts of the structure did not

I second this to a point. However, carbon fiber made with epoxy resin doesn't exactly shatter, it splinters like wood (hence why both carbon fiber and wood are composites). I helped build a carbon fiber frame when building a solar car. What makes this so hard for consumer vehicles is both the cost and the difficulty

If GM really wanted to get some good testing at the proving grounds they need to salt that Belgian Block Loop every day all winter and then test from late Feb to early Apr (salt + soil freeze-thaw cycles). If GM can get 25000 miles w/o knocking off alignment or bending rims/tie rods/wearing out shocks or struts, they

Hold on there, I'm pretty sure that Schauer would have signed this too if he was the gov. Unfortunately for us in MI, even if Snyder vetoed it the legislature would have overridden it since there was only 1 nay vote in both the house and senate for this law. Our state is dysfunctional to say the least.

They are common in MI now. In fact, whenever a left turn signal is replaced, the new one has a flashing left turn arrow and sometimes replaces the green arrow (in sparse traffic).

Reckless is a $500 fine in MI and you have to do more than just speed.
