The real question is - what side would the emus take in this conflict? That’s gonna decide who comes out on top

BRING THEM TO THE US. IT IS OUR DESTINY TO RANCH HIPPOS IN LOUISIANA

“The high five was invented by the first openly gay baseball player in 1977" is the sort of fact that sounds absolutely made up on its face and blows your mind when you find out it’s actually true.

This is me being pedantic, but that photo is not in front of Vanguard’s headquarters. That is very clearly Philadelphia’s city hall. You can see the glass entranceway to the subway right behind them. Vanguard is located in Malvern, which is a suburb of Philadelphia.

Wonder Woman recruiting Shazam into the Justice League would make for a pretty killer post-credits scene

Now playing

This reminds me of a fan trailer I saw a few years back based around the idea of a “modern” Westeros set thousands of years after Game of Thrones, which I always thought would be fascinating. As much as the plot of ASOIAF revolves around magic “reawakening”, I thought it would be cool as hell to see a parallel

That’s....not what a post hoc fallacy is. You are deliberately trolling at this point

And that certainly sounds low without ANY OTHER CONTEXT - namely that that is well below the 10th percentile of salaries for that profession - likely below the 5th percentile. You can’t claim that an entire profession is underpaid because less than 5% of the employees make a low wage part time, and 90+ percent at least

I don’t think you know what statistics are.

The link that you included says that a year one officer for Southwest makes $98,000 a year and that by year 6 they can be making almost $270,000 a year which...is around what I said in my initial post?

Not to mention that pilots receive hourly pay - hence regional pilots making less overall. Regional = shorter

Not according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics

Even if that number is far off - there is no reality where pilots are working class. It is a high skill, high pay job that requires extensive training and schooling. “Working class” is generally defined as low skill, low pay jobs requiring physical labor.

Also, how the hell are airline pilots “working class”? Glassdoor lists the average base pay for a pilot at Southwest as $250,000!

I have absolutely no reason to think this and no information to back it up, but something about Chalamet’s dead eyes just make me instinctively hate him and assume that he is a horrific monster.

The man has skeletons in his closet and I pray upon his downfall!

I mean yeah, it kinda-sorta implied that during the after credits scene. But that could just as easily be inferred to be Wanda diving deeper into her magical delusions. And at the time when Agatha was restraining the kids, Agatha certainly had no reason to think they were any more real than any other part of the

The part about random guys suddenly eyeing him up for a fight is hilariously relatable to me. I have definitely noticed a direct correlation between the amount that I lift and the number of guys that seem to start acting aggressively towards me for very little reason. It’s always the type of guy that would

The Kinect was definitely ahead of its time a bit. I’d imagine it would have been fantastic for Twitch streamers and the like. And imagine if Xbox had developed a Zoom app!

Agatha wasn’t a villain, dammit! SHE DID NOTHING WRONG

I just want to point out that Agatha never actually did anything evil the entire show! She killed witches in the past, but only ones that were actively in the process of attempting to execute her! She restrained the kids, but the kids were also about as real as a Sims family!

Somewhat relevant - I highly recommend the PBS docuseries “Philly DA”. It’s quite illuminating about the corruption of the Philly FOP and the systemic issues preventing real reform against police abuse.
