I didn’t identify with what all the teenagers went through because I lived a completely different teenage life than they do. I don’t remember if I went to a prom or when/how I lost my virginity, having special friends at school, etc., so I sort of kept thinking, “Come on-let’s get on with the story!”

Our local paper actually did a story on the farm that covers most of it.
I do genuinely enjoy the milking, cheesemaking, and soapmaking aspects of the farm, but the schedule is hell in the spring. Also none of us can take a vacation because it’s far too complicated for anyone but a trained farmhand to handle the 50+…

My youngest sister is over 6 foot - she’s miserable all the time from being so tall, it makes her really self conscious, and she’s often in pain from how fast she’s growing... She’s only 17, but at 11 was taller than anyone else she knew her age (and most adults she knew too...).

As someone whose parents retired/quit the medical field and now run a dairy goat farm, don’t do it.
