This hasn’t ended well.

I went to that site for the first time in over a decade the other day. Good lord, that layout has not changed since GWB was president. But, I will say this: They do still use Disqus.

Back in 2004, when blogs were still a thing that people did, I had a blog. One night I wrote a long-ish entry on why I thought Rodney Dangerfield was the only modern comedian on par with Chaplin and Keaton. When I finished writing it, for the hell of it I went to Rodney’s web site and sent him a link to the post. (To

We’re all gonna get laid! Oh wait, wrong movie. Shakespeare for everyone!

Scrawler?

Andrew Ridgeley has a name, galldurnit!

Not true, at least for me. I’d be uncomfortable condemning anyone if the only evidence of wrongdoing was second and third-hand rumors, and if the supposed sources of those accusations started directly refuting them.

That’s a spoon.

I’m going to hazard a guess that you find a lot of things depressing.

There’s a fundamental problem that “The Defenders” can’t get around - Finn Jones just kinda sucks as a martial artist. (I studied Soo Bahk Do for over a decade, and while I’m hardly a champion, I know enough to know a crappy martial artist when I see one.) He basically just flings his limbs out and hopes his

I have it on vinyl. better?

I do like how Last pretty well seals the deal on the movie's nihilism.

Whoa, Beavis…if I could move my hand that fast I'd never leave the house

I agree with what you're saying, but I always thought Reznor and NIN presented themselves as skinny, fucked up, intelligent weirdos just violently letting it all out.

I loved Broken back in the day (still do, actually), and while "Wish" is one of the best tunes on the album, my favorite back then was "Last." I was pretty jazzed when I saw Cabin In The Woods in theaters, and heard "Last" played over the closing credits.

I'd just like to salute your mom for being badass enough to buy a 12-year-old Broken and Dirt as Christmas gifts.
