I used to wear full make up to work but this year I stopped cold turkey. Main reason was I started biking to work and didn’t feel like trying to apply to a sweaty face. It was hard to get used to seeing and accepting my nude face at first but now I couldn’t imagine going back. For the record I work as a fifth grade

No wayyyyy! This makes me so happy hahaha. Good luck on your practicum! Teaching?

In Canada specially Ontario, once you live together for 12 consecutive months or you have a child together, you are considered automatically ‘common law’ essential married without a marriage. As far as I understand it alots you most of the same rights as a married person. Both our names are on our mortgage and house

But I still think... Why? Unless I have some legal or insurance purposes maybe with our kids in which it becomes more of a hassle to be not married than married...

True I guess if something like that came up I would be married without the wedding. So far we are considered common law and I’ve had no issues with my guy’s benefits. Other than for bureaucratic reasons I can’t see it happening.

Hey there fellow northerner woop woop! I'm in Thunder Bay, you?

Is there anyone else out there who is just not interested in a wedding? I’ve been with my partner for 9 years now and have no desire to marry. We plan to be together “forever” which for us means as long as we are both growing together and healthy and happy. We’ve lived together for 7 years and bought our first house
