See, that’s actually not bad. It evokes a burger in minimalist sense and incorporates the town’s name like most water towers. Plus I don’t imagine it would be too expensive or hard to maintain.

And will any of that matter to the white voters of Mississippi? Nope. Not even a little. If anything, all that will get her more support.
All 4 designs leave much to be desired:
You can only control the things within your control.
In an ideal world, white people would see the error of their ways and treat everyone equally, but in ideal world, they wouldn’t have created the system as it is in the first place.
You said white people need to fix their ‘mess.’ Firstly, what makes you think they believe it needs fixing? And secondly, how are you going to ‘make’ them do something they don’t want to do?
Make them how? They’re not going to do it because you ask. You think you’re the first generation of black people who’ve been fed up at their treatment from white America? Hardly.
WHY WOULD THEY?
You can claim something is “no longer acceptable” all you like, but unless you have the power to change it, it’s meaningless rhetoric (like the people who lived and died under oppression before you where simply ok with it?)
That’s definitely going to be the white strategy going forward. Inviting smaller groups into whiteness as necessary. You see it here in this piece with Asians. Then it’ll be the 2nd and 3rd generation hispanics who will no longer see themselves as hispanic, but white.
Actually it’s been studied. Money can buy happiness, but only up to a point. Above an annual income of $72,000, more money no longer equates to more happiness.
My main point is that there’s no incentive for white people to end the system that supports and uplifts them. They don’t give a fuck about colored, they proved as much by creating the system that oppresses them in the first place.
No. It’s Houston. Majority minority, but not majority black (much like America will be soon). Very much built on a structure of southern white supremacy, but the changing demographics have made that situation untenable. If they play that game now, we kick them out.
White supremacy is a measurable, tangible reality that is upheld by white people and it can only be dismantled by white people.
‘can be’ doesn’t equate to should be. Iceberg retains its firmness in chopped form much better than other lettuce, so you still get that crisp texture there whereas chopped romaine is floppy and far less satisfying.
Iceberg is good on tacos because it’s better chopped, but for a sandwich? C’mon...romaine is basically genetically engineered to be sandwich lettuce. It’s even perfectly shaped to fit into a roll.
Netflix? Probably not. Amazon? Absolutely, they have the potential to dwarf Apple. Everything Apple does is essentially tied to a single piece of hardware. Things like iTunes and the app store go away if people stop buying iPhones (and the market is pretty much saturated).
Yeah, this is the guy who needed a cheat sheet to tell him to be empathetic after a school shooting. He is incapable of caring about anyone other than himself.
It’s like getting free meals for life at age 92...
