I’ve been living in Houston for over 2 years, I can’t think of a single time someone’s come tried my door without knocking first.

Ok, the question is how many people on an average day try to open your door? For me the average number is 0 times per day.

No. Providing information is not sales. Now if you lie about what’s good because your boss told you to push a specific product...then that’s sales. But if you genuinely think the thing is good, then it’s a recommendation, not a sales pitch.

A server is not a salesperson. They’re a service person. They provide information and take orders. They aren’t there to unload used cars.
