It was a very good idea to take a search engine that had been so finely tuned over the past few decades that the word “google” had become completely synonymous with internet search in the vernacular, and just shoehorn in an AI replacement that was not even trained to filter out obvious satire.

The kicker here is that AI actually sucks at doing most things, and yet it doesn’t stop companies from barreling full steam ahead and replacing workers or other tried and true systems with AI.

I enjoyed Poor Things, but there’s something about Yorgos Lanthimos and animal violence in his films that makes me think...okay, maybe enough with the animal violence.

I agree! It’s not great. But unfortunately in the way our capitalist society has been set up, those with the most money are able to exert the most influence on our politicians who shape policy that benefits the richest among us! The very ones who are prepping for a coming societal collapse that they seem hell bent on

Hey look, someone who understands the inherent fallacy of what Musk is saying! Thank you, I was drowning in the replies of Musk stans here.

I’m not a billionarie, or a policy maker, so maybe some of them could try to actually do something instead of the type of lip service Musk peddles.

“Putting aside the X/Speech/Politics” is really doing a lot of heavy lifting here. If anything has been laid bare with Musk’s increasing appearance in the public eye, it’s that the main thing he’s been responsible for is investing in companies that manage to get good government subsidies that keep them afloat.

It’s all well and good to TALK about, but he’s actually one of the people who could advance it IN PRACTICE, but it would involve a lot of, like, taxing people like him, and providing more benefits to the workers he currently seems to be laying off or treating like crap. Practice what you preach.

This is why a lot of billionaires are doomsday prepping and investing in bunkers.

You’re speaking as someone who seems to have zero familiarity with who Elon Musk is.

That’s fascinating! And yet I would be willing to bet there isn’t some kind of universal subsidy for displaced voiceover artists. As Elon is fond of saying...Concerning!

An unsurprising yet supremely dumb take from Elon Musk!

Pandora is another one where there’s one good ride and one blah. I rode the river ride once and don’t really need to do it again. But Flight of Passage is one of the best theme park experiences I’ve ever had.

Monica Belucci, how do you do it?

The fact that it’s only two rides is crazy. And that Oga’s cantina, which is touted as such a cool experience, ended up being so small you can’t hope to get in without an advance reservation. I’ve never even noticed the entrance to it, much less gone inside. The feel of the land is cool, but other than the rides, it’s

I balked at the four hour runtime too, but ended up just kind of playing it on my phone while I cleaned my house one day and it was pretty worth it.

Always nice to see that our government is working for the people, by which I mean, making laws to protect the very small amount of people who can afford to fly in private jets.

I don’t think she went after the closure was announced. I forget exactly (it was a long video) but she mentions that she called to book a room so early that many amenities were not even offered to her and she wasn’t even aware of them until much later.

Seeing the image, I got excited that Slow Horses was coming back.

This story (and many others making the rounds) just seem to speak more to collective cultural illiteracy than anything about Oldman.
