Yes, that’s why I took issue with the statement from the article that Elon actually does care about free speech - he clearly doesn’t, he only cares about amplifying speech he agrees with (typically hate speech) and censoring those who criticize him or disagree with him. It’s free speech in no sense of the word.

I think suddenly deciding to make Twitter the entire world’s phone service provider is a pretty absurd move. Is there anything he HASN’T tried to turn Twitter into yet? He wants it to be your bank, your YouTube, your news agency...and yet the whole thing is barely being held together as it is.
