I think these finally look nicer than the old round ones!

“There is no right way to enjoy riding.” Something most of us tend to forget. I miss having a cruiser quite a bit! 90% of my riding would be more enjoyable if I still did.

Ooh, that Thundercat - heavy as hell to pick back up, I know too well.

I’m a materials engineer working on vehicle lightweighting... I inhaled a little coffee when I read that line!

Even worse - I’ve seen a Yamaha 600 here in Columbus with an extended swingarm. Yeah, great drag bike there... stupid.

2005 Yamaha YZF600R. I had 10,000 miles on a Honda Shadow and was dying for a sportier bike. I test rode this at a shady “not-a-dealer” that posted ads on Craigslist, fell in love and traded him my Shadow the next morning. After 20,000 miles, I still love how it looks and sounds (stock can, tyvm), in spite of the

You can turn off notifications for just one - I think Inbox even pops up a dialogue to turn off Gmail notifications when you install it.

Pretty sure jeffco was trying to point out that Tyler wrote “flack jacket” instead of “flak jacket” in the second paragraph. Reading comprehension... I can haz it.

Maybe someday when I have money! I think his is the R100? He told me he bought it new way back when.

Beautiful! One of the professors in my department daily rides an old BMW like that, sans fairing and bags. I love to look at it while mine warms up.

It is a serious bummer. I bought an Xbone last fall in anticipation of Halo: MCC, and I’ve regretted my choice since that game came out. Exclusivity helps companies sell consoles but it sure sucks for those of us who can’t afford multiple electronics purchases each year!

Those guys keep me humble when I start to think I’m getting good haha!

This! I’ve got an older friend who wipes my ass all over the twisties on his FJR1300. I genuinely can’t believe the things he does with that heavy bike sometimes. He should have been a racer instead of a machinist.

My favorite part was when he yawns at 2:49!

Most would probably stereotype me as a hipster. Obscure beers, beard and long hair, skinny jeans and a beanie, daily ride a fixie... but I pour my heart (and cash) into my motorcycle and car - I looked long and hard to find a manual first-gen Fit in good shape, too! And I work on them myself in the tiny garage I pay

Yeah I do live in a city and I would hate to drive (and especially hate to park) a bigger car than my little Fit. I'm doing my best to win over my friends too haha.

Based on my peers' opinions, it's the looks! I think it's a matter of cultural familiarity at this point. Most of my friends, even ones who like cars, think sedans look better. I'll grant that this is sometimes true, but I personally think stubby hatches look more interesting (I have a first-gen Honda Fit).

Cannot star comment enough.

That plus his comment about your girlfriend being sure to wreck it with the red key - he's either doing a poor job of trying to be funny or just an asshole.
