I seem to be the only person here who actually likes the touchscreen there!

It's homey, I like it! It looks like something I wouldn't be terrified to put my grubby mitts on.

Agreed - or at least it also looks very, very good in a different way! I think this is beautifully understated and refined, along the lines of an R8. A bit aggressive without shoving "I AM SO FAST AND EXPENSIVE LOOK AT ME" in your face.

As an urban twentysomething with poor money management habits, I am 100% this bike's target market. And I desperately, achingly want one. I think Yamaha is going to lose more than a few FZ sales to this beauty.

Jesus, the assholes really came out of the woodwork to shit on you! Congrats on getting a car you like, and screw the people putting you down for it. "Your car sucks" is not what this site is about.

I live, drive, motorcycle, bicycle, and walk in (far, far less insane than NYC) Columbus, OH where the 25 mph limits just got bumped up to 30. Even with the reasonable level of traffic here, I *still* think it's too fast to be safe.

Same here, I've been wistfully contemplating selling my bike and car to get one of these. I'm a nerd, granted. But I love how this looks and I like being comfortable when I ride.

They were amazing! I never had been able to buy them as a teen, so I bought them all on eBay after I graduated college.

First-gen are known to leak? That... would explain some things about my '07 Sport.

The twelve-year-old in me actually thinks it looks pretty awesome...

It really is! And I know myself well enough to know that I should not own one haha.

I rode a friend's Speed Triple (different animal, I know, but still) after a year of riding a 600cc inline-four. The torque blew my pants off, and I was intentionally taking it easy! Those engines are not advisable for newbies!

It's a rare person that can resist the urge to abuse a powerful bike, though! I bought my 600R after putting 10,000 miles on my first bike, but I still catch myself doing (and allow myself, on occasion, to do) stupid things. I've wrecked... let's see, I think I'm up to 4 times now, 3 on the current bike. Adrenaline is

Lots of Gixxers with obnoxious pipes around here (Columbus, OH).

That's awesome! At least a third of my riding is intra-city, for which my carbureted 600R is non-ideal. I'm dying to get a Grom to run around on in town!

Edited: redundant post. Sorry!

I'm still playing and enjoying it (PC). Player base is probably nowhere near CoD levels but doesn't seem like it's dying out!

That... is very, very pretty in black. Moar wing is good wing.

My 600R is my daily; I hope someday I will have enough money for multiple bikes haha
