Also it’s not remotely true - Columbus didn’t prove the world was round, despite that being taught in a depressingly large number of schools for a depressingly long time.

I love the references to the tabloids, too, and how all their outlandish headlines turned out to be true. Even the intro with the bug was very clever in how it built up expectations that just ended with a splat.
Then there are the supporting performances by the likes of Rip Torn and Vincent D’Onofrio, who are each great—as is Linda Fiorentino. Unfortunately, watching Men in Black today, you really feel how shortchanged the one female character in the film is, which is a shame, especially since she never got to come back…
1997 was such a wild year. We got Men in Black, Starship Troopers, and Austin Powers the same year as Spawn, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (still the only movie I’ve ever walked out on), and Batman & Robin.
They both are decent in support roles, and have gotten some real bad luck with script choices. Let’s hope they get some good writing to work with. Plus, Cara as a fairy? That’s just good casting.
Finally, Amazon has released a teaser for Carnival Row, a period-set fantasy/mystery series starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevinge
Hey, I’m right there with you on the miniseries- I really liked it!!!
You don’t want to see Chris Pratt as Batman chasing down a cybernetic Stegosaurus through downtown Manhattan?
All I care about is if Dune is at least as good as the Sci-Fi miniseries (fuck you, I dug it). Assuming it is, I’m good
So I finally saw Jurassic World 2: The Really Stupid One a couple of weeks ago, and that movie was just abysmal. I mean it’s hard to understate just how god awful that movie actually was, there is literally no reason to give anyone a chance to make another one of those movies.

I agree, this is what they did with Luke in the new Star Wars trilogy and it didn't go over well.
I hope that some sort of failure isn’t the set-up for Picard. One, it’s a bit of a cliche. How many sequels were set up after the hero retired following a major failure? That premise feels below the talent at work in this series. Two, I’m not sure if an event like that would send Picard into early retirement anyways.…
Sky Bacon is delicious I hear.
Rest assured there is an alternate reality where their name is AC comics and Superman is their cash cow, and where a single crisis-free continuity with zero convolution and nothing but great stories reigns supreme. Pigs fly there by the way.
No one is expecting them to do anything, that’s why I used the word wish. Calm down.
Looks fantastic. I will read it!
For those who want to see Gabriel Picolo’s other artwork, here you go. I actually quite enjoy this one and his style fits pretty perfectly with YA and the Teen Titans.
The “problem” with CG is that is isn’t very conducive to positive accidents.
