“Clearly there’s a problem with how the court of law handles sexual misconduct cases, so we have to stop thinking about this with phrases like “innocent till proven guilty” – You just made a scary assertion. You are literally saying that sexual misconduct suspects should no longer be entitled to a presumption of

Referring to T.J. Miller? All the article states is that he was reported to campus police and that the matter was “resolved”, and that campus privacy laws did not allow any more information to come out. That is not at all the same thing as having a public trial in a court of law. You know that, right?

I’m sorry to inform you that in this country, when a man is accused of rape, he is still entitled to a fair trial in a court of law, no matter how badly concern trolls would rather see a gang of Handmaids tear him to pieces without due process.

Why on earth would he say “If I physically and sexually assaulted her, it was only because of my brain tumor” when he obviously prefers us to believe that his accuser is a vindictive, lying nutjob?

Why don’t you upload a photo of yourself, so we can all make presumptions about your potential for sexual assault.

A statement from Weinstein’s representatives states: “Mr. Weinstein believes Jason Priestly is an excellent actor. He does not recall any altercation. The punch was consensual.”

Thanks for the reminder. I thought we were all done.

Were voter suppression laws in Alabama pulled back this year, allowing more African Americans to easily vote than in years before? Or was this more a matter of black Alabamans rising above voter apathy? Because if they saved Alabama this year, why didn’t they save it in 2016?

I share the same reps, and you’re basically right, though it should be noted that Feinstein isn’t a dependable liberal vote on everything. She’s changed her stance on immigration, net neutrality, Iraq, etc. through the years, in accordance with public opinion. Even today, she’s still pro-death penalty and

Out of all the pre-Oscar awards, SAG often comes closest to the final Oscar nods, but there are always some outliers (Sarah Silverman, anyone? Jennifer Aniston?).

...demanded an Internet commentator who posts their opinions under the safety of a pseudonym.

If she changed her surname to Ferrari, she could get even more votes.

I have been saying that we only need about a million of my fellow California liberals to relocate to Wyoming, Montana, Alaska and the Dakotas, and that would guarantee a Dem-controlled Senate for years, and possibly the House and the Presidency as well. But no one wants to make that sacrifice for their country,

America Ferrera will be old enough to run for president in 2020.

I don’t think bryanska is trolling at all. He or she has been raising some interesting points and addressing some genuine gray areas. You, on the other hand, are merely acting smug and dismissive, crowing that every single person in your family has had a pristine moral compass that would stand up to 2017 standards,
