My mom went into a period of mourning for every ding and scrape I got. She wanted me to have plastic surgery to fix every little thing. Thanks heaps mom.

I have really bad scarring from surgeries. People can’t even see them or even know that they are there. Yet it took me years to look at them without disgust. I can only imagine how traumatizing it must be to have a serious facial scar, especially when you’re that young and an actor.

I fell off my bike when I was kid, injuring my chin. I will never forgive my mom saying “You ruined your face!” What a thing to say to a child. I indeed have a keloid scar there that looks like a bump. So what. Thanks for the emotional slap in the face, Mom.
