Yes. I don’t remember her from P&R, but I definitely remember Burning Love’s “Virginia”. She took a one-joke role and made a real character out of it.

I appreciated the fact that they were doing something different and I gave it a couple of chances. But ultimately it was far too manic for me; I found it exhausting to watch.

I’d say that “Gypsies” have magic powers and successfully cast spells to get revenge. Roma are the people who actually exist in the real world (and lack magic powers to the best of my knowledge).

I really liked Spy, but I’m not sure there’s room for a sequel. Half of the reason it worked was the idea that no one took McCarthy’s character seriously and continually disrespected her.

She doesn’t mention it specifically, but I’d like to think that she was also wearing a goalie mask.
