I hadn’t seen her in anything after Designing Women until Watchmen came along, but whoa - she was amazing in that. I really need to check out Mare and Hacks.

Does this mean that Pink Flamingos is officially no longer a cult film?

It’s very good as a believable source of PTSD, though. (e.g. Peaky Blinders)

Well... Layer Cake is still terrific!

I finally watched Jennifer’s Body last week and was impressed with Fox’s performance. Diablo Cody’s writing demands a lot from an actor but MF mostly made it work. I also admired the way she portrayed the transition from one type of monster to another without ever becoming totally unsympathetic.

Happy to see Titane high on the list.

I like a lot of electronica and this seems to have potential (though it sounds overproduced), but my inability to understand Spanish is a serious impediment. Too bad.

So Chris Evans is playing Tom Brady?

Hmm. Good point.

TGTB was below average, but far from the worst. It was all just a dream is a terrible plot hack, but it had some funny dialog and I was amused to see how easily Charlie slipped into the role of a child. That’s more than I can say for Charlie’s Home Alone / The Gang Wins the Big Game, for example.

We already know that’s the case, don’t we? Mac Finds His Pride was a whole season ago.

The Extreme Makeover ep was too sadistic to be funny, IMO. I skip that one (plus the Liberty Bell and Frank’s Brother) during re-watches.

TIL what you just wrote.

Nice to see Jennifer’s Body coming back. I meant to watch that in October - oops.

There’s a lot of Watchmen in that photo collage. It’s an outstanding show, but the man does have >100 acting credits...

Agreed. I love it (I’m a subscriber), but trying to shoe-horn it into a list of good-and-succinct shows doesn’t make sense.

Tinsel and Tar was pretty good. Is this a sequel?

Clooney’s directorial career has been mixed, but I still love Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. I learned today that he’s apparently making it into a TV series, which could be fun.

Dune may not be about fashion, but its costuming is more interesting than any of those, IMO.

The John Wick movies are probably the best “Keanu Reeves movies” IMO, but I think his best performance is probably in The Neon Demon. It’s a small role, but it convinced me that he really can portray an unlikable, unsettling character.
