At 9:41 EDT November 1, I noticed that something moved somewhere...

My last comment here today: I just spent 2-1/2 hours scrolling through more than 300 comments and leaving at least a usual week’s worth of stars, recognizing so many of my invisible friends.

Honestly, it was cathartic. I’m still angry and sad, but now with a fuller heart. Farewell, everybody.

That’s actually a good idea. I was considering something similar but I wondered how to find a decent commenting system, and even then couldn’t figure out how to import all the Deadspin Kinja commenters. Not a trivial task, especially for one with my obsolete web design skills.
