TB might have been Dungee but he did have a good success with the Raiders before leaving. He was good at getting some good performances out of a few journeymen QBs and teams with vets. Game has passed him by now.
There is 0% chance Trump made and posted that video himself. It had to be some white house intern they brought along. But how did no one know that this is a major breach of protocol? Like you, I doubt they would be told about this and then decide to just post it anyway, but Trump I guess could have just said fuck…
Well, WAS he ever a good coach though? That Bucs squad was all Tony Dungee’s people right? I mean I’ve heard him talk football for years, and I don’t think I have ever heard a really interesting insight out of him ever.
And they take this on a game where the Raiders actually won?!? I want to hear what Gruden has to say when the Raiders get blown out 35-3.
Being in nature can make a huge difference, and it’s one of the reasons I always try to take my clients outside for therapy. Even if it’s just to a park. I used to work only steps away from the beach, and my clients loved when we would go down to the shore for therapy.
Especially when you take an eighth of mushrooms.
It may seem like bullshit but being in nature even just someone’s woodsy neighborhood can do wonders. I love hiking on wooded trails and being in nature when my depression is winning.
Which rules do you know?
Rumor has it he enjoys a good pegging
If the rule was intended to prevent the ball from being batted into the returning team, then they did a terrible job at writing that rule. Rather than prohibiting that one thing, it allows far more scenarios, and has the bizarre caveat where the returning team gets to choose either outcome.
If I had to guess, I would say the rule exists to prevent players on the kicking team from batting the ball into players from the receiving team and then recovering it.
Bill Belichick will no doubt get him in a trade for a bag of peanuts.
The field of play is 100 yards. The returnable length is 109 yards. What's nonsense is not counting vertical yards because you don't like it.
“so you can touch live balls and not get a penalty? sweet.”
One yard line. No worse outcome than if Harris hadn't picked up the ball.
No one has had a 103-yard anything
The Return team gets to choose whether to take the ball where it was touched or where it ends up, so the safety would not have been counted.
Since running it back 109 yards is objectively harder than running something back 100 yards, it seems kind of arbitrary to draw a line beyond 100 yards where extra credit is no longer given.
The Raiders should just go on tour next year, like they’re the damn Grateful Dead. Every Sunday a new city, let them ride in tour busses, just barnstorm the damn countryside. Gruden and Mark Davis should be the bus drivers and Dwayne Harris can be the guy to yell “Thank you [city name]! There will be no encores!”.
