I guess he either has a laugh and feels like he’s trolling them or he’s letting it sting his ego too much and is raging back. Either way it seems pointless. I don’t think I’d even bother being on social media as a celebrity. Hell, I don’t even think I’d go on the internet if I was a celebrity.

Fair enough.

There were full on reviews for both of those garbage films? Who got stuck with those assignments and why? I know I’m beating a dead horse here at this point, but why give any attention to these things, especially D’Souza? I just don’t see where taking the piss out of these things is worth giving them any press.

Had to stop reading because I haven’t watched the last episode yet so FUCK....I hope I don’t agree with you after that. It’s been so damned good so far.

Hill House was the most glaring omission, to me. You could take away the horror elements and it would still be one of the best dramas on TV.

Yeah, I don’t know if it was just a little too free form for people to follow or if it was David’s slide into inky morality that turned people off, but it was hardly a bad season.

Also true. Worst of lists are rarely as interesting or as well thought out as best of lists. Worst of usually translates to “Stuff I don’t like.”

Something similar, I guess. Something with more thought put into it than what the Razzies does. I think I spelled it out in my original post. If you’re going for the low hanging fruit, it’s pretty boring.

The list has Netflix films and released to theaters wasn’t a qualifier. There’s plenty of worse DTV trash than something like Mute that technically get a theatrical release a a theater in LA for one weekend, if that’s how you want to judge.

I don’t agree. He’s making content in the same way Alex Jones makes content and neither one has any illusions about it being art.

Works for either one, but at least Roth is actually attempting to make movie and not just a filmed version of himself standing on a corner with a bullhorn shouting crazy bullshit.

Yes, including propaganda films is lazy. They shouldn’t even be considered. Their existence shouldn’t even be acknowledged.

Didn’t Gritty already get co-opted by the Far Right, too? I thought Reddit already fucked that up.

Just browse through Amazon’s list of streaming new releases for purchase. There’s at least a handful of these conservative propaganda films every week, seems like.

They’re fair game, but it’s still lazy. I want a little more out of a pop culture site than pointing out an obviously terrible movie is terrible just because you get to reaffirm your views on the loons that made the films.

You saw the byline, right?

A new generation of children can watch another child’s head explode under the impact of a car tire and this generation can watch it in glorious CGI and in IMAX. What a time to be alive!

I’m sorry, but putting one of those God films and a D’Souza is kind of cheap and lazy. They’re not films that should even be acknowledged and it’s not like either one had a chance at being competent or anything other that preaching propaganda to the choir. It’s no different than just filling the list with DTV Asylum

You have to admit that it was quite a feat to take the already moronic book of RP1 and somehow manage to dumb it down for the film version.

I don’t think anyone is going to get the knives out over 21 Jump Steet.
