Look, I know Alpina stuff is cool, but holy shit that’s a ton of money for a 25 year old Bimmer with an extra 50hp and some decals.

Roll Tard!
50.1% NP for me on this one. If I were looking for one, this is probably the example I’d go with, and the price seems appropriate.
Fair enough, you and Kendra make good points, and I’m in the wrong on this one.
This is 100% where my mind was on this. I can fully understand a memorial for someone who was killed, and that seems to be a fairly common thing on campuses (we have 3 or 4 different memorials where I work). And I could totally understand this if she’d been the only person to ever be assaulted on campus, but we know…
Remember all those talking heads who thought that they were going to break the paradigm, completely remake the way that athletes are endorsed, and lead to a shakeup in the market like we’ve never seen?

Thanks for doing the research. My initial thought after reading that statement was that he must have been an established writer that had done a ton of stuff, and that she was brand new. His resume isn’t exactly Spike Lee’s.
I agree, but can we discuss how freaking weird the whole plaque thing is? (not her leaving the situation, the fact that people think it makes any sense at all to put a plaque there)
Yeah, 90k in 21 years is not “driving it all the time”.
Came here to post that second quote. A good rule of thumb is to not touch stuff that isn’t yours. Cars are not public property (and neither are dogs, but that’s a whole nother conversation), and you don’t have the right to touch stuff just because you want to.
Thank you for capitalizing “Not Racist”, that’s exactly how those people use those words.

As a guy who loves to buy and restore 70/80's UJMs, I love this bike. But you’re spot on, this is a $3500 ride, maybe $4000 if you take into account the CB750 tax.
He’s trying to get a pretty big chunk of it back, but you’re right, he could be asking some stupid(er) number like 25 or 30k.
Changes to the CBA are the only thing that fixes this type of situation. If players want to get to free agency faster, they’re going to need to negotiate it. The concept of sitting out when you have 2-3 years left on a contract is sort of silly, it’s going to work for maybe 3-5 guys in the league.
While I’m all for players getting paid, this whole “Hey, I know we have a contract, but I don’t like it” thing is really getting out of hand. Real change comes through a different set of rules, not some guy sitting out when he has 2 or 3 years of team control left.
The craziest part of this whole situation is how much money has been sunk into this thing.
Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahhahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
