Yup. There’s no question that Harden could be a generational superstar that’s universally loved, if he didn’t play a brand of basketball that everyone hates and then compound it by whining his ass off.

And Lillard led the Blazers back without the benefit of a really weird, after-the-fact call that had a huge impact on the game. (the knights had plenty of opportunity to still win the game, but that 5 minute major was a crap call that had a huge impact on the game)

Honest question, when did Wrangler prices become batshit insane? $10k for a 40 year old, 100k mile example is in the “maybe, maybe not range”?

This poor dude got terrible advice in requesting the medical waiver that he didn’t qualify for instead of the coaching/recruiting waiver that he did qualify for. Being outside the 100 mile radius meant that the NCAA had an easy way to deny the waiver, and if there’s one organization you never want to give an easy way…

The game itself was great, and it’s really cool to see the Blazers (and Lillard in particular) get some run nationally.  Dude is that good, but seems to get overshadowed by the other great players in the league.  This playoff run could be his coming out party.

That’s not a 5 minute major, that’s a 2 minute minor with an unfortunate result.  Terrible call.  (I’m not a fan of either team, so no bias there)

I have no complaints about this list.  Which is oddly satisfying and oddly annoying.  

My wife and daughter are very aware that the goal is to win the fight or allow for escape as soon as possible.  It’s not to fight fair, or observe some sort of standard, it’s to inflict maximum damage as quickly as possibly, and bail the fuck out.  

Doing laundry monthly means you have to buy so many of everything.  I don’t need to have 40 pairs of pants and 45 shirts hanging around at all times.

You’re absolutely right. Some countries have to deal with terrorist bombings multiple times a year, for decades. And yet, they don’t do this whole patriotism at sporting events thing.
