As a big Jays fan who has been able to watch/listen to almost every game this season, it’s bizarre. They’re leading the league in 7th inning offense, and are playing great ball for 3 innings every night.

Potential counterpoint that I don’t think gets discussed enough in all this. What do these guys and their agents know that we don’t regarding the next CBA, including strike/lockout/whatever stoppage we’re doing this time?  Are they signing these deals because they think the next CBA is going to have a hard cap, or…
