ugh… gail king. i was hoping that i'd never hear tell of her now that oprah's gone.

i used to watch charlie rose a lot (starting back in the mid-nineties), but then i started to notice how much he interrupts his guests, and then i started yelling at him to shut up and let the guest answer the fucking question. now i just watch when it's someone i really want to see. it's too bad, because there…
to be honest, i don't even think about it. i've been typing this way since i started using the internet back in the nineties— mostly because i'm a bad/self taught typer, partly because i'm a lazy typer when commenting on message boards and forums. it's certainly not a "meme".
yes… very creepy.
the real crime was that they were yuppies.
i did that with regarding henry. true story.
i recently "liked" him on the facebook, and he seems quite sincere, and responds to his fans comments in a really nice guy kind of way.
i absolutely love his "these boots…", especially how the horns fade in and out at the end.
as i was a HUGE letterman fan all through the eighties, i was actually watching that episode when it aired, and it was as bizarre and hilarious then as it seems now. man, letterman was great on nbc back then. harvey pekar, brother theodore, his x-mas specials with his "family". thank the lord for youtube.
kermode and mayo fan— good for one "like".
but they were yuppies! that is NOT a happy ending!
crispin glover was mine and my friends favorite part of the movie when we saw it back in good old 1986. we quoted george mcfly endlessly.
for me, it wasn't that they were successful that seemed wrong, but that they were yuppies! it seemed all wrong, and it's probably the only thing that i never really liked about that great movie.
yes, episode three is great.
i know, i know. it's shameful. a friend and i are about 16 episodes into season 2, but it's been about a year since we've watched it. i need to rectify this!
i don't know, i think i'd just go with the two hour pilot— it doesn't get any better than that.
yeah, i remember it coming back around toward the end, though i haven't watched much past the revelation episode in my many re-watches. i need to get to that soon— it's been over twenty years!
Borneo! Sweet Borneo!
i have friends trying to get me to watch torchwood, but seeing as jack harkness is easily my least favorite character in new who, i'm guessing i won't like it. plus, all the sex stuff sounds kind of stupid. is jack harkness in it a lot (i know it's more of a "team of experts fighting the aliens" type of show)? …
i know 'pine barrens' gets bandied about too much, but it's a great (mostly) stand alone episode. it's pretty hilarious, very suspenseful, christopher and paulie were great together (it was the first time i saw the humor in paulie's charachter— in a laughing at, not with, kind of way), and it's not so heavy that it…
