this one was just on last night.  it's a pretty great one.  and, as i've seen most of this show through reruns, i finally found out where big tuna came from (and it was a brilliantly mundane reveal).  it did feature a LOT of jim acknowledging the camera (which happens waaay to much for my tastes), but at least they

i actually love awkward/cringe humor (LOVE the office (uk) and curb your enthusiasm and many others), but i hated michael scott in this.  i have many friends that love steve carell in the office, but all too often i just hate michael and don't find him funny at all.  every once in a while i will laugh at something he

oooh, the pilot of twin peaks would be a good first episode to show someone.  i've shown it to many, many people in the last twenty years, and it has never failed to ensnare.  it does lose it's way once you find out who the killer is (and what a genius episode that is— most disturbing depiction of a murder i've seen),

i'm not a huge fan of the office (us), but i do watch it fairly
regularly in reruns, and pretty much know what happens, and when, up to this
last season, of which i've only seen one episode.  i think the show has many hilarious moments, thanks in large part to it's brilliant extended cast, but it has many flaws, ones

i'm not a sports guy at all.  like you, i know the rules and such, but don't follow any of them other than hearing my friends talk about them.  but i loved sports night.  it's more about what sports represents to these people in a larger sense, how these people interact with each other, and their passion for making a

she's the reason i stopped flipping and watched my first sportsnight episode.  that was my biggest t.v. crush since claire danes on my so called life, and i don't think i've crushed that big since…

it is a great episode.  really affecting.  charlie's character went through a hell of an evolution.  i think he was the first character everybody loved (hurley would get fleshed out a little later if memory serves), and he had the iconic and ubiquitous line "guys, where are we?".  then he had that phase where we felt

i'd rather you come here and say you haven't seen it, rather than complain about how you feel cheated, and how you wasted 6 years.

they have smoothies?

yeah, i'd realized that i loved lost with the 'pilot (parts 1 and 2)' and 'tabula rasa', but it became a truly great show with 'walkabout'.  the inspired writing, the stunning performance by terry o'quinn, the tragic/beautiful music by michael giacchino, all come together, bringing us to that brilliant moment of

'the pirate planet' was my first episode back in the eighties.  it was a sunday night, i was in high school, it was listed as "doctor who- science fiction" in the t.v. guide, and i didn't feel like going to bed yet.  it was an instant sunday night ritual that would continue for years (mccoy would put an end to that).

yes, 'blink' for new who, and 'city of death' for classic who.  good job, guys!

fancy party wasn't the first parks and rec episode i saw (don't really remember which one is, but i'd seen the 6 or 7 episodes previous), but it was the one that hooked me, and soon after i realized that it's my favorite show currently on television (up until homeland, anyway).

i like how they mention shows that aren't their choices and aren't discussed, but they still flag them, and i get really excited for no reason.  thanks a lot, guys!

more italian than domino's, less italian than olive garden!

i remember watching cheers during it's initial run, and it being a real highlight when it was a nick tortelli episode.

hulu plus— $7.99 a month *plus* commercials!

don't ask "can i?", ask "i can!"

i have yet to watch this episode, but i am laughing a LOT at all these quotes.  i can't wait to watch it!

i didn't see the episode, but i laughed a few times reading the stray observations.
