i think it's all the running.  not as much shouting, though.

yes, this, and "you're a very beautiful woman, probably" are great, classic lines that are delivered beautifully and crack me up every time.

looking in the imdb trivia section, it says that in 2004 carré otis (not carrie it turns out) denied the rumors that the sex scene was real.

the controversy i remember was that mickey rourke starred in it with his then girlfriend carrie otis, and that in their sex scene together, crew members reported that they might actually have been really doing "it".

the best one of these was when woody got waaay in over his head with a chain smoking cougar/sexual predator.  man, was that woman scary— all red lipstick and stiletto heals and permed hair.  that's an example of this kind of story being done really well, and it was hilarious.

when too close for comfort changed locations in it's later seasons, henry was either part owner or worked at a small town newspaper.  does that count?

true story… i was watching cash cab earlier today and these two girls used a mobile shout out to call a "mr. bloggins" (or something very similar) and i was all like "you're calling your cat?"

nope— saw it in the theater.

anytime george eats it's a 100% guaranteed laugh.

i can't believe that moment did not get a mention.  he was singing "once, twice, three times a lady" for chrissakes!

i prefer fainting victorian lady.  similar vibe but much more concise.

when she hauls ass, she has to make two trips!

that was the last thing i saw him in that was decent before he went batshit.  next thing i remember was wild orchid (which i actually saw in the theater).  was harley davidson and the marlboro man in there somewhere?  anyway, he disappeared, i heard he was boxing or something, then it was ten years later and he looked

oooh, kafka.  it's kind of a mess, but a beautiful mess.  king of the hill was good, but i recall finding it kind of depressing (well, it *was* set during the depression, duh).  great cast, though, and it was photographed beautifully.  i remember when they shot it here in st. louis— it was kind of a big deal at the

bosom buddies was pretty good.  but it did have "bosom" in the title.

the middle is a pretty good show with winning actors (especially sue heck and brick) that is oftentimes funny and is not about seemingly jobless people living extravagant lifestyles.  whenever i watch this back to back with modern family i always wonder why this show gets little to no love and modern family, a show i

i understand that, but i've heard this "argument" a lot, and i never hear anyone refute it.  it's almost as if it's a given— "aaah, don't pay no attention to those protesters— they're either dirty hippies or over-privilaged trust fund babies!"

didn't they already do this shitty, wig-filled movie with marky-mark?

oh, the fallacy of the liberal press…

oh, don't get me wrong.  i really like all of these films— some more than others.  i especially liked matinee.  that had a sense of wonder about it that really worked, though i haven't seen it since it was released and don't know how well it holds up.
