yeah, i have friends who love craig ferguson, and i just haven't been able to get to that level of appreciation.

sorry.  i'm fine with craig ferguson in short bursts, but i don't see how anyone can watch an entire hour of him.  and i liked him on the drew carey show, too— i just don't like his talk show.

i wasn't expecting much, and i thought it was really funny, and at times very touching, seeing how much he loves what he does and cares about his work and how he appreciates and interacts with his staff and fans.  sometimes it did get a bit too "i had the tonight show stolen from me", but i don't begrudge him that— it

when i saw that this reviewer was disappointed that there were pre-taped bits coming, i thought to myself, "who is this guy?"  as with david letterman, conan's pre-taped bits are what i look forward to in his show.  the in-studio bits can go from fine to hilarious, and the guest spots are always a mixed bag, but when

the key difference, i believe, is obliviousness.

i still remember when i got my first surround sound set up, blasting the practice opening credits.  a pretty cheesy, if entertaining, show, but a really cool theme song.

the magnum p.i. theme got some radio airplay back in the early eighties, as did st. elsewhere's, which is also pretty great.

whenever this topic comes up at the bar, it's always between the rockford files and sanford and son, with the rockford files edging out for top spot.

just because an actor *can* sing, doesn't mean the character *should* sing.  people don't sing like that in real life, and when they do, everybody hates it.  this show does too much good-times-talent-show-episode type stuff and it gets on my nerves.

i actually like erin, i think she's cute and funny, but i thought that yelling thing was terrible.

isn't it about time we retire the whole "____ porn" thing?

i had no prior knowledge of whitney cummings before this show's ad campaign, and i watched only 15 minutes of the pilot (and found it boring).  but i am so fucking tired of seeing her giant fucking face.

yeah, i love how krammer (thought i'd keep that one going) says "pam" twice with longing, then on the third one he shouts it.  that makes me giggle.

yeah, uncle buck has more flaws that planes, trains…, but john candy's still great in it, and pre-home alone macauley culkin was really great (see also jacob's ladder).  and the little girl was cute, too.  sure, the sullen teen was a bit much, but it doesn't diminish how good candy was.

love that whole miming drunk thing candy does.  i've used it many a time.

it's houdini's death day today!

i had the soundtrack. i really liked the end credits song with candy's and martin's lines worked in— it's pretty cool.

vacation is a family film?  there's nudity in vacation.

that made me laugh so hard just now, next round i buy i'm using it.

i really like peter davison's doctor, and his episodes (the early ones, at least) were very good, with great atmosphere.  but he had the worst companions.  only ace and that red headed mccoy chic are worse.
