Narrator: The image was, in fact, Kinja’d

You know, if there is one thing that stands to benefit from being 100% “AI” generated, it’s Marvel media. There is enough material to train both writing and art style from the last 30 years and generate more of the same tepid power fantasies and low stakes bEacuaSe MuLtiVerSe

he died from heart attack while at his cabin.

edit: i see kinja is as broken as ever.

Out of 5 “Video chat apps”
- 2 are owned by Facebook (which is out of the question for some)
- One requires the whole family to be on Apple products
- One is not even a video chat or even an app
- And the only real alternative has a name that would make my mom whack my head yelling “I’M NOT THAT OLD! ... YET!!”

You know what else is getting cancelled? G/O media.

Yup, gotta love that mixup on the front page:

You’re already using the Google-mined Android operating system.

Yeah, I’m aware of that. Here in Canada our privacy laws are slightly different and iirc telecoms usually retained data for 6 months but that info might be outdated. In any case, we know Google is in the business of You™ while our telecoms here aren’t — or shouldn’t be — at least for the time being. Lesser of two

From what I gathered, RCS is unencrypted and uses a SIP protocol, a little like VoIP which requires a specific infrastructure (asterisk servers, etc). So if you are bypassing / aren’t using your phone provider’s RCS infra, I’m pretty sure you are using Google’s.

That’s what enhanced privacy does. It blocks embeds from youtube and facebook, which are disguised cross-site trackers.

Ah! See, I tried to hit reply without reloading and the page crashed:

Reading and replying to comments is a PITA. As you said, with an ad blocker on the process is a bit involved but I refuse to turn it off (those who read me before know my position on advertisement) and my workaround is a bit different. Here’s my process on PC: (I’m using firefox)

With about a liter of foundation, daily.

I’ve just posted this in another article so please forgive the repost, but I think it deserves to be seen. If you are in doubt about an *Android* App, you can look it up on Exodus Privacy. It’s a little technical, and basically every app comes with some trackers but it can help you make a more informed decision,

If you are using Android you can check with Exodus Privacy. It’s an French non-profit that audits Android apps and lists all permissions and hidden trackers.

Especially when those updates only add ‘features’ that we in no way want or need.

.. and please dismiss my comments when you’re done, lest I get one too in retaliation :P
