Yeah this is a joke. Sucker born every minute apparently.

A lot less than 50 grand.

I think you need to reread my post. Like I said, you can get a bona fide supercar for $200k, but that’s not a blue chip investment-grade exotic. There’s a lot of cars I’d rather have used for $200k than a new Z06. But aside from a 996 GT3, or a manual DBS, you’re not in investment territory. The Macca is a supercar,

I own a RX8 and this is completely backwards. Rotaries need to be revved to clear out carbon build up because that’s what causes wear on apex seals. The 4 port renesis on the automatics is much less reliable and much less powerful than the 6 port. Otherwise everyone would buy manuals and just shift at 7500. This is

Tesla owes 1% of the total $10.5 million award you knucklehead; the case wasn’t for 1.05 billion dollars

$38,820 when the C5 base debuted is $69,100 now

This is a little bit out of touch. What “slightly used” blue chip exotic can you get for $200k? Maybe a low mile 550 or a manual DBS, but you’re not getting a manual 575, or a manual F430, or a Murci, or a 512, or a GT2… you’re in “bona fide” supercar territory to be sure, where prices might go up or might go down, but

$50k for a GT3 allocation? Maybe in 2019. Keep going.

I hired Tom to find me an Elantra back in early 2021. Did he save me the whole cost of his fee? Maybe, it was probably about a wash. But he definitely saved me a ton of bullshit. In the current market, which is far worse now, sell your car for cash, and hire a pro to find what you’re looking for. That’s the real tip.

I think Sainz could have used it more

You could see it during his in-car views - the virtual telemetry projection always had it around 25% even if he was full brakes

Some things shouldn’t be sellable independent of the size of the check, governmental autonomy chief among them. They have a word for that, “corruption”

Then NHTSA needs to raise the recommended national speed limit to 70-75. We aren’t driving swing axle Corvairs anymore. If they want to put pressure on states to discourage speeding, then make it an attainable goal.

The R26B (and rotary in general) was banned from LM because it was too reliable. Please correct this injustice.

Holy shit dude lmao

I’m not sure why you think you’ll never see these. They’re priced to move, supposed to be very driveable and aren’t some insanely limited run, though that’s not saying the factory can crank out 100 a day

Seems like it’s a lot cheaper to buy a tarp than a new car

Valid

It’s a really close call but I went CP. If all the work was done to VW spec, I could see paying $10k if I was a VW guy.

Yeah generally the 250GTO owners are pretty good about letting the cars do their thing. They’ll usually strip out the original interiors for something more modern if they’re in a heritage race, and occasionally put a spare engine in it from like a 250 GTB (some of why those cars are so expensive), but generally
