kill the banks
this comment, it’s good
I was at the only game Dan Orlovsky won at Ford Field.
I’ve been in the tombs under the 40's at Park and it’s one of the most incredible structures I’ve ever seen. Entire buildings supported on columns in crazy, irregular patterns because of the right-of-way (like, columns for a square building but in a curved pattern because of the tracks). Plus supporting the road, that…
so this is a $180m 30 year bond offering
nothing to see here, bernie tomic is always that bad
the V8 q45 was the first car i hooned at age 16. did a full 180 into a curb and blew 2 tires off the rims.
They need to do something about this. Three of my idiot family members have had cars “stolen” because they figured out if they leave the keyless fobs in the car they can’t lose them. So instead my taxpayer dollars go to recovering idiotmobiles and my insurance money goes to paying idiots. I’ve had this discussion with…
Congrats to deadspib commenter alum and squirrel cumming guy RMJ=H
this is all barry petchesky’s fault
i mean, it’s not like this is GOOD but it looks like he was on the shoulder. which is worth something. i’d rather they set up a roadblock or something but if these fucks were actually slowing or stopping traffic to race they should go to jail. i can’t imagine a cop coming up the road toward the roadblock sirens on…
soccer would be on my list but as a team sport theres definitely times where you can take a couple plays off. if lebron could in the NBA finals, a sport with twice as many dudes on the field definitely could too
Dean basically said point blank “don’t make me do hometowns if this isn’t real” just to get immediately kicked off after hometowns. I thought that was totally classless, especially when there’s another guy who has all but committed to not being committed.
Oh there’s definitely places that are worse but NYC is no picnic. There is zero air movement, zero trees, and all hot, reflective masonry and asphalt. I have traveled plenty and it’s not Dallas - but I’ll take the weather in Miami, Vegas, San Diego, etc. regardless of what the thermometer says.
If you have $2m to spend on a car you have ample money to spend on a closed hauler to get it wherever it needs to go.
Exactly. Tennis is mentally draining because your ability to think was sweat out about 6 pounds of water ago, and you still have 2 hours to play. A quality, competitive tennis match is a contest to see who gets less delusional under dehydration.
“NYC isn’t hot” - person who’s never been to NYC in the summer. I’d take god damn Miami in August over New York.
You’re running 30 second dead sprints with 10 second breaks while trying to hit a ball moving 85 mph and purposefully moving your opponent around their half of the court (while they’re doing the same thing) - for 4 hours - and you’re comparing that to downhill skiing?
Tennis is definitely way the fuck up there. Look at the US Open. You’re playing in 90 degree heat (all four majors are played in summer), the bogus humidity of New York late summer, for four hours, with no more than about a 90 second break in the action, directly under the flight path for LaGuardia.
